This coming Saturday, the 11th of December, The Fondazzjoni Ta Klula organises the Festival of Light. A number of young girls, dressed in long white gowns with a wreath of lit candles on their heads parade in the square where a large bonfire is also lit.

Santa Lucija buns are distributed to all those present and a brass band also participates in the celebrations.

The Festa proper will take place this Sunday, the 12th of December, when a large variety of celebrations take place inside the beautiful little Church and also around the streets of this very quaint Gozitan village.

After the Festa celebrations finally draw to a close, a large Crib is set up in an old mill room in readiness for the Christmas Celebrations.
