Malta Dairy Products have announced that the price of milk will rise from this Wednesday, the 5th of January. The company said that the increase was due to higher production costs, as well as international increases in cereal prices.

The prices of yogurt, mozzarella, gbejniet and ricotta will remain unchanged

All carton prices of milk will rise apart from, the small skimmed milk carton which will be 1cent less.

Other milk cartons will see an increase of between 1 and 5 cents.

Coloured milk will increase by 5 cents, normal milk carton will increase by 1 cent and the the light blue carton will increase by 4 cents. The small blue carton will increase by 3 cents.
