A one day seminar will be held by the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps (E.R.R.C.) in Gozo. This will include both the theoretical and practical aspect of Map Reading and Navigation.

The seminar will tackle the skills involved and needed, to learn how one can navigate by using different equipment and techniques.

Applicants are required to:

• Sign a liability release prior to commence of the seminar.

• Be over 16-years of age.

• Have adequate attire, such as good walking shoes and proper clothing.

• Other basic preferences such as food, drinks etc.

• Have their own transport, to the different locations.

Applications to attend the seminar must please be sent to grech.anthony@gmail.com by not later than the15th of April 2011.

This seminar is free of charge to the E.R.R.C. volunteers and members over the age of 16. However applications by the general public may be considered against a fee of 20 Euros.

Early applications are strongly recommended due to limited numbers.

A certificate will be distributed at the end of the seminar.

The seminar will be held at the Munxar Parish Centre on Saturday, the 16th of April 2011, between 8.45am and 5.00pm.
