Gozo Collecge Nadur Primary School celebrated the children’s success and diversity during the annual Celebration Day held at the Dr Joe Debono assembly hall last Thursday.

The hall was full to capacity with parents and VIPs who were overjoyed with the impeccable performance of the musical ‘Annie’ by all the year 3 and year 6 children. The prekinder and kinder kids’ performance of an action song named ‘Il-Koki’ was well recived and said to be “thoroughly delightful.” All the children gave their utmost during the performances, in both acting and singing. The final performance was a great reward for the whole school. Year 5 children sang both the Gozo College and school anthem. A number of children playing their instruments gave a great performance when they accompanied the National anthem.

Prior to the Celebration Day event, the Parliamentary Secretary for Consumers, Fair Competition, Local Councils and Public Dialogue, Dr Chris Said, himself a past student of the school, inaugurated a new work of art in which all children and staff left their hand print on it, this was then creatively finished by local artist and school volunteer Mr Charlie Camilleri.
