The Gozo culture Office, in full collaboration with the JP2 Foundation, will be holding a commemorative concert on the occasion of the Beatification of Pope John Paul II this Sunday, the 1st of May 2011.
Pope John Paul II first visited the Maltese Islands in 1990 and paid his second and final visit in 2001.
The concert will take place at Christ the Saviour Parish Church Ghasri and will host the Maltese Tenor Aldo Busuttil, accompanied by the University Junior College Orchestra under the direction of Mro Manuel Pirotta.
The performance will start at 7.30pm and the general public is cordially invited to attend.
