The Electoral Commission has said that any people who will be abroad on polling day, Saturday, 28th May, 2011, that they may make a declaration on oath before the Electoral Commissioners so that they may cast their vote on Saturday, 21st May, 2011. This declaration on oath shall be made at the Office of the Electoral Commission, Evans Building, St. Elmo Square, Valletta, or at the Identity Cards Office, St. Francis Square, Rabat, Gozo, from Monday, 2 May, by not later than noon of Friday, 20th May, 2011, according to the hours indicated below:

Mondays to Friday: from 8.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. and

from 3.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.

Saturdays and Sundays: from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

Friday, 20th May, 2011, last day: from 8.00 a.m. to noon.

When the person calls to make the sworn declaration it is important that he/she brings his/her identity card, and that on the day of advanced voting (21/05/2011) he/she must be in possession of the voting document as, without it, no one shall be allowed to vote.
