On the occasion of the Beatification of Blessed John Paul II and his visit to Saint John’s Co-Cathedral on the 25th of May 1990, the JP2 Foundation in collaboration with St. John’s Cathedral Foundation, the Valletta Local Council and Chorus Urbanus Productions, is presenting a concert of sacred music on Wednesday, the 25th of May at 8.00pm.

This choral concert conducted by Dr John Galea, is being held in aid of Puttinu Cares and will feature music by Marco Frisina, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Ludovico da Viadana, Giuseppe Caruana, Antonio Lotti, Dimitri Bortniansky and John Galea.

The concert will be held in the nave of St John’s Co-Cathedral. Patrons are reminded to refrain from entering the Cathedral wearing stiletto heels
