Schola Cantorum Jubilate presents the Chichester Singers from United Kingdom. They will be visiting and performing in Malta and Gozo between the 27th and 31st of May. The choir will animate the 11am Mass at the Basilica of Maria Bambina, Xaghra, in place of Schola Catorum Jubilate.

The Gozitan Choir warmly invites everyone to attend the Mass to listen to the classical pieces that will be sung by the British choir. The pieces to be performed are from renowned composers like Schubert, Mozart and Haydn.

The choir is under the direction of Jonathan Willcocks, who, after early musical training with the King’s College, Cambridge and at the Clifton College, took an Honours degree in Music from Cambridge University. As a composer, he published major choral works, works for children’s choir, instrumental works and many shorter pieces including anthems and secular choral music.
