Vodafone Malta has announced that it has launched the Nokia E7 onto the local market. Available from all Vodafone concept stores the Nokia E7 comes at the price of €659 when purchased alone and for the minimal price of €229 on the Vodafone plan Smartphone 95.

“Nokia remains a highly popular mobile phone brand among local consumers,” said Alexandre Froment-Curtil, Head of Marketing at Vodafone Malta. “This latest addition to the Nokia family promises great performance and seamless communication activities like downloading emails from Hotmail, Yahoo and Gmail.”

Vodafone said that the smartphone has a captive touch screen that comes with a Nokia ClearBlack real-glass display for improved outdoor visibility. Its hi-tech characteristics include an orientation sensor, a compass, a proximity sensor and ambient light detector. With 16 million colours everything looks crystal clear on the high-quality screen and the tilting full-touch display sits at a natural angle for optimal viewing. The company went on to say thaty ou can pinch your fingers to zoom in or flick to scroll on any web page or alternatively slide the screen to reveal a QWERTY keyboard.
