The Gozo Kickboxing club is organising a Kickboxing Marathon in aid of the Arka Foundation

The marathon is being held on Sunday, the 19th of June 2011, from 10am onwards at the Gozo Sports Complex, in Victoria.

The General public is warmly invited to attend and to participate in the Kickboxing marathon that will be trying to raise money for the Arka foundation.

Besides several demonstrations, sparring matches and session simulations to watch, people who attend the event can put on a pair of gloves and get in the ring to try out the sport with a local athlete.

As well as the Gozo Kickboxing Club, several kickboxing clubs from Malta will also be joining in. The Tenchi Ryu Karate Gozo club will also be there to lend a helping hand.

The event will be free of charge, however donations in aid of the Arka Foundation will be more than welcome.
