Update: Mrs Mary Fenech Adami sustained a heart attack and collapsed last night while at the wedding reception of the Prime Minister’s son, at the Girgenti Palace.

The former first lady, who is 77, is being treated at the Mater Dei Hospital. The bulletin from the hospital this morning, states that the prognosis is guarded.

The hospital issued an update at 12.30pm today to say that Mrs Mary Fenech Adami remains in a critcal conditon in the Intensive Care Unit.
