After a three-hour meeting held today, between The Prime Minister, Air Malta and the pilot’s union (ALPA), Air Malta pilots have called of their proposed day of strike action, which had been due to take place this Saturday the 16th of July.

In a joint statement released after the meeting, the parties said, “all sides had agreed to work closely in securing a better deal for Air Malta with Malta International Airport, improving the performance of Air Malta, seeking new opportunities on cargo, and facing all challenges that will turn around the profitability of the company.”
