Italian artists Lucia Sconfienza and Sergio Aimasso, are exhibiting their new artworks at art..e Gallery in Victoria. This is the second time that the two artists have chosen this gallery to show their innovative works.

The exhibition carries the title ‘Enigma.’ By means of this label the artists said that they want to emphasise the underlying reflective process that together with artistic impulse originates each piece of their art. The artists said that “this initial vision, which at that instant only exists in the brain, is afterwards realised into an authentic spatial and chromatic construction.” The artists continued, “as such, ‘Enigma’ embodies the challenge that always exists between the ideal project that the artist harbours in his mind and its subsequent material realisation. This process also possesses a philosophical significance that is part of the artistic activity.”

art..e Gallery is situated at 1, Library Street, Victoria (near St Augustine Square) and is open from Monday to Saturday from 9.30am till 12.15pm. On Friday the gallery is also open from 5pm till 7pm.

The exhibition runs until Saturday, September the 10th. Private viewing may be arranged by phoning 2155 7911 or 9980 4773, or email artegozo@maltanet.net
