The Gaudos Quartet to perform live at the Citadel, Victoria

This Friday, the 23rd of September, the renowned Gaudos Quartet, will be performing a special concert at the Rotary sponsored Gozo Art Show 2011 at the Citadel, Victoria.
Set in the beautiful old St Ursula’s Hall, surrounded by contemporary works of art, the quartet will perform works by Beethoven and Schubert as well as a piece by local composer Charles Camilleri.
President of Rotary Club Gozo, James Wilberforce, described the forthcoming event as a “treat for the ears – complementing our annual ‘feast for the eyes”
Members of the public are warmly welcomed to attend this special event, the performance starts at 8.00pm until 9.15pm. A light pasta supper with wine will be served afterwards.
The ticket price is €20, with all proceeds going Rotary’s preferred charities for this year: The Friends of the Sick & Elderly on Gozo and Happy Moments in Kenya. Tickets may be obtained from BOOKWORM, Victoria, or via info@rotarygozo.org.
