The University of Malta – Gozo Campus, are offering a short course in ‘Emotional Intelligence.’

The course covers basic concepts in emotional intelligence, as well as the basic techniques in developing emotional intelligence skills in those working with children and young people. The course should be of interest to teachers, learning support assistants, parents, psychologists, social workers, counsellors, youth workers, professionals involved in the field of education with children and young people, care workers and the general public.

The course will be held at the Gozo Campus, at Mgarr Road, Xewkija and will be spread over 3 weekends commencing Friday, the 21st of October 2011. Lecture sessions will be held every Friday from 1700hrs to 2100hrs and from 0830hrs to 1230hrs on one Saturday.
