Dinl art l-Helwa and Friends of Ta’ Braxia Association have announced that an All Souls Service will be held at The Memorial Chapel of Ta` Braxia Cemetery, Pieta, on Wednesday, the 2nd of November at 11.00am. Rev. Canon Simon Godfrey will conduct the service.

The cemetery was designed, in Neo-Romanesque style, by Emanuele Luigi Galizia and was opened in 1857. It is the burial place for about 4,500 non-Catholics but was severely damaged during WWII. A Restoration Committee was set up in 2000 by Din L-Art Helwa and the Department of Health. Friends of Ta’Braxia are responsible for its continued maintenance.

All are welcome to attend the All Souls Service and to see for themselves another worthy project spearheaded by Din L-Art Helwa. The cemetery is situated close to Blata l-Bajda on the way to Portes des Bombes.
