Richmond Foundation in collaboration with Malta Community Chest Fund started a project named ‘Overcoming Barriers: Supported Employment for Youths.’

As part of this project, Richmond is organising a seminar which focuses on the negative consequences on a young person’s well-being at being discouraged from seeking employment and encouraged to be fully dependent on social welfare benefits.

The target participants of the seminar are mainly parents of young children and adolescents. Through this seminar, families will explore ways of enabling the concerned youth to grow in an environment that supports the development of their skills.

The seminar will be held on Wednesday, the 9th Of November 2011 between 13.00 and 16.00 at the Local Council’s Hall in Nadur.
