The Health Division said that it would like to remind everybody about the importance of vaccination against seasonal influenza. Influenza is usually more common after the New Year period and this means that the first 2 weeks of December are the best time to get the Influenza vaccine.

As from Monday 12th December, the seasonal influenza vaccine will be offered free of charge to the general public including children over the age of 6 months. The public may call at the immunisation clinics within the Health Centres during their normal opening hours and are reminded to take with them their identity cards or the immunisation record book in the case of children.
