Gozo SPCA is joining up with animal welfare societies around the world by marking World Spay Day 2012, which is on February the 28th. The Society are organising a month long cat neutering event in Gozo.

Thanks to the generous financial support of the Marchig Animal Welfare Trust, Gozo SPCA is holding a neutering of street and colony cats programme throughout the month of February.

The society has specialist equipment for trapping and transporting cats with the minimum of distress to them. Let us all try to prevent the birth of unwanted kittens and give the adult cats a longer, healthier, happier life.

Gozo SPCA will be very pleased to hear from anyone feeding colonies of cats which need neutering and ask them to contact Betty at info@spca-gozo.org.
