The Ministry for Gozo has initiated the process for the setting up of a Regional Youth Council for Gozo. A first meeting will be held on this coming Friday, the17th of February 2012.

This Council is intended to provide young people in Gozo with an effective representation and to recognise the work of these youth groups to the benefit of Gozitan society. It will also help establish a recognised forum where young people will discuss, share ideas and promote more collaboration between their respective organisations.

Youth organisations based in Gozo, who have not already submitted their intention to participate in this council, and are interested in being involved in this initiative are invited to register their interest through email on info.eco-gozo@gov.mt.
