Dr Saviour Gauci appointed as Housing Authority Chairman

Dr Saviour Paul Gauci has been appointed Chairman of the Housing Authority.

Dr Gauci has been a Board Member of the Housing Authority for a number of years. Throughout his career he served as Residential Ambassador of Malta to various countries. He currently heads the Marketing Department and is Dean of Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy (FEMA) at the University of Malta.

Besides his professional career, Dr Gauci served as a Director with a number of companies amongst which, Bank of Valletta and the Malta International Airport Plc. He was also a member of the Board of Special Commissioners of the Inland Revenue Department.

Dr. Gauci is the author of various articles and studies on Marketing and Banking and Finance topics which were presented in conferences and published in academic journals.

Dr Gauci is married to Mrs Theresa Gauci and they have five children, Claudia, Giannella, Daniela, Elena Bianca and Jean-Pierre.

The Housing Authority extends its gratitude to Mr. Charles Borg who served as Chairman during the past three and a half years.
