The Teatru Astra in Victoria, Gozo, has launched the preliminary programme of events for the forthcoming 11th edition of Festival Mediterranea 2012.

This annual festival of culture, featuring opera, music, dance, history and archaeology, local food and wine, and art, this year runs from the 25th of October to the 17th of November.

Festival Mediterranea is organised by volunteers at the Teatru Astra, with the support of a number of partners namely; Bank of Valletta, Malta Tourism Authority, the Vodafone Malta Foundation, Malta International Airport, Ministry for Gozo, Ministry for Finance, the Economy and Investment and Malta Council for Culture and the Arts.
