A 64-year-old man died this afternoon when he fell from a balcony after the balustrades collapsed at a residence in Qala, Gozo.
Police said that the incident happened just after 5.00pm in Triq l-Imgarr. An ambulance was called to assist the victim but unfortunately he was certified dead at the scene.
A Magisterial Inquiry has been appointed into the case, whilst police investigations are still on-going.
