Gaulitana A Festival of Music continues with another two events, the first one starting on the Wednesday after Easter, the 11th of April.

‘Busking at the Citadel,’ is with American soprano Carla Wiegers, who will present an open-air lunchtime recital of the best loved operatic arias in ‘busking’ style at the Gozo Citadel’s old gate starting at 12.30pm.

This is followed on Sunday the 15th of April with ‘Lovewhispers from Mozart to Lehar,’ which is a vocal recital with German soprano Katharina M. Kagel who will present a vocal recital with the versatile repertoire varying from operatic arias to operetta, as well as from semi-classical numbers to Naepolitan ones.

Gozitan pianist Stephen Attard accompanies as well as gives two piano interludes on his own. The concert is being held at the Gozo Ministry at 7.30pm.
