The body of an unidentified woman was spotted in the sea off Dwejra near to Fungus Rock this afternoon.
It was reported to the authorities and an AFM Patrol boat later recovered the corpse.
The cause of death is not known at this time.
Hopefully the cause of death won’t turn out to having been hit by a falling rock whilst swimming through the Window.

You all have a very strange way of thinking if you took what I said as a joke. Obviously it wasn’t. When part of the window fell into the water I made the suggestion that it might be a good idea if the Gozo Ministry placed a ban on people swimming through the window. I have no doubt that ban has never happened and people are still being allowed to swim through both on the surface and under the surface. Therefore in the event that someone gets injured or indeed killed by rocks falling from the window due to the fact that there are probably still unstable rocks waiting to fall it will be down to the Ministry in general and Giovana Debono in particular to take the blame.
