Members from the Gozitan post-secondary student organisation Students’ Voice recently met with H.E. Bishop of Gozo Mgr. Mario Grech. Through this meeting, both ends recognised the need for cooperation so as to provide post-secondary students with the necessary formation, to enable a holistic experience to be achieved.

During this meeting, several issues were identified which may hinder the sixth form student from obtaining a complete moral formation, and which may be addressed by both the Gozo Diocese, as well as Students’ Voice in collaboration with the sixth form’s spiritual director and administration.

Finally, it was agreed that more discussions should be held in order for a concrete plan to be formulated and implemented, which respects the free choice and personal responsibility of the students, while providing them with additional opportunities to strengthen their characters.

Mgr. Grech recognised the importance of such work among sixth form students as being of considerable importance, given that this two-year period is for many the last they ever spend studying in Gozo.
