The Yes Movement for Human Life, based in Gozo, is comprised of individuals who are in favour of life in all its aspects. The Movement believes that “human life should be protected from the very beginning and should never be exposed to manipulation and be placed in danger.”

The Movement said that it “is the voice of the embryo, children, youths, adults, the elderly, the sick, persons with difficulties, disabilities and any condition a human can find him/herself.”

“This group believes that human life starts from conception and remains until the very last breath. This Movement is made of a cross-section of Maltese and Gozitan society: professionals, mothers, fathers, single individuals and even children. The values related to human life our forefathers guarded, cherished and passed on to us over the centuries from generation to another, are today threatened,” it said.

The Movement concluded by saying, “unfortunately, Malta and Gozo in recent years has been hit and is gradually being carried away by a ‘tsunami’ of destruction of the fundamental value, the complete respect to human life.”
