The Xewkija Local Council will be presenting Fiori D’Argenta, an annual festival of culture, history, drama and traditions, on Friday the 15th, Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th of June 2012.

The varied entertainment will be taking place in St John the Baptist Square and the surrounding areas. On Friday evening there will be a performance by Kurt Galleja and on Saturday evening, D.R.E.A.M.S. will be providing the entertainment. During the days there will be a farmer’s market, crafts, historic sites, a kid’s fair, falcon show and horse defile, to name just a few!

The largest traditional ‘Torta tal-Bajtar ta’ San Gwann’ will also be baked, with a chance for everyone to have a taste of the finished result on Saturday.

The Xewkija invites everybody to go along and enjoy the weekend of festivities and events, suitable for all ages.
