€2170 was collected during a High Tea held in aid of Puttinu Cares Gozo earlier this month.

The High Tea was organised by a group of volunteers within the Mnarja Philarmonic Society in Nadur and it attracted a large turnout of people, either to join in the bingo, or who just wanted to enjoy the atmosphere of the evening, thus enabling this wonderful amount to be raised for such a worthy cause.

Besides gifts linked to the bingo itself, participants could have won other gifts donated by JB Stores, Myoka, Agenda Bookshop, Captain Morgan Cruises, Ta’ Mena, Jigami Hairdressing, Mediterraneo Park, Malta Sightseeing, Eurosun Ltd, Modatex and Suncrest Hotel.

The Puttinu Cares Gozo Committee thanked Mr James Buttigieg, President of the Mnarja Philarmonic Society and all volunteers who made this event successful, whilst inviting other groups and individuals to take the initiative and organise activities of their choice in aid of this foundation.
