The locality of Gharb has just finished celebrating the locality’s feast dedicated to the Visitation of Our Lady to St. Elizabeth.

For the 10th consecutive year, the Council orgainsed the Infiorata on the Church Parvis. The themes forming this year’s Infiorata included the logo of the OBIMED project in which the Council is participating, the logo of this year’s European theme dedicated to the Elderly and the Parish logo.

Once the 11am band march on early Sunday afternoon was finished a number of volunteers varying from young children to adults gathered on the Church Parvis to start works on the Infiorata. This was completed just in time for the procession with the Visitation statue to pass over the flower carpet.

The Gharb Local Council would like to thank all those who gave their help in setting up the Infiorata for 2012.
