A number of trainers in the youth sector are being made available by the Youth in Action programme, funded by the European Commission and locally managed by the European Union Programmes Agency (EUPA).

These are the Youth in Action Pool of National Trainers, which consists of nine professionals trained in the field of youth work and who are able to assist the EUPA in the execution of training courses and provide youth work services to local youth groups. One of their main objectives is to train participants during local TCP activities and to facilitate in activities related to the Youth in Action programme.

The aim of this initiative is in fact to create a pool of trainers who have the competences and the motivation to contribute to the improvement of the quality of training within the Youth in Action programme, besides supporting local youth work initiatives.

The Trainers are assigned to conduct training courses and other activities, such as seminars, partnership building activities, networking activities, and contact making seminars.
