An exhibition of paintings by Willie Apap and Emvin Cremona, Malta’s two pioneers of modern art, is being organised by the St Joseph Band Club of Ghajnsielem.

Sacred Art will be the theme of the exhibiton which is taking place at the St Joseph Band Club, Our Lady of Loreto Square, in Ghajnsielem. The exhibition is a chance for the public to view and appreciate some of the best contemporary Maltese art of the twentieth century.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on Sunday the 19th of August at 7.00pm and will be open daily until Sunday the 26th of August, Ghajnsielem’s feast day, between 2.00pm and 10.00pm.
