On the occasion of the titular feast of the Nativity of Our Lady celebrated in Xaghra Parish, the Victory Philharmonic Society (A.D. 1898) will be performing a musical concert in Victory Square on Tuesday, the 4th of September 2012 from 9.30pm onwards.

The concert is being taking place in collaboration with the Xaghra Local Council and it is held under the distinguished patronage of the Xaghra Mayor, Mr Joe Cordina.

The Nativitas Choir directed by Ivan Attard A.MusTCL, singer Audrey-Marie Bartolo and Ta’ Verna Folk Band directed by Michel Refalo will also take part. The Victory Band will be led by its musical director, Mro. Joe Galea LCM.

The programme for the evening will include various classic, modern and contemporary pieces, something to suit everyone’s tastes.

Everyone is warmly invited to attend the concert which is free of charge. Those attending are requested to be seated in the square by 9.15pm.
