On the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the death of St. George Preca as well as the International Year of Solidarity Between Generations, the Don Bosco Oratory youths, in collaboration with the Society of Christian Doctrine (MUSEUM), is producing a Multi-Media Presentation in maltese entitled “DUN {OR{: A BRIDGE BETWEEN GENERATIONS.”

The Multi-Media Presentation of about 45 minutes has an original music score by Francesco Grech and lyrics by Mark Laurence Zammit. “DUN {OR{: A BRIDGE BETWEEN GENERATIONS” includes projections, music, songs and dance.

For the last three months over fifty youths have been working hard on this production partly financed by the EU Youth in Action Programme.

The Multi-media Presentation aims at portraying the first maltese saint as being the answer to the social condition of the young generation of Malta in the early 20th century. At the same time, his figure and teachings may also provide an answer to the myriad of questions asked by today’s young generation.

“DUN {OR{: A BRIDGE BETWEEN GENERATIONS” will be presented for the first time at the Don Bosco Oratory Theatre Hall in Victoria, Gozo, this coming Wednesday, the 3rd of October at 7.30pm, with a repeat performance being held in the MUSEUM Auditorium at Blata l-Bajda on Wednesday, the 17th of October at 7.00pm.

Everyone is invited to attend. Entrance for this multi-media presentation is free.
