Chris Said, Minister for Justice, Dialogue and the Family today announced the event “Symphony of Lights” that is being organised by the Santa Lucija Administrative Committee.

The event will include a traditional fjakkolata this coming Sunday, the feast of Our Lady of Fatima.

The hamlet of Santa Lucija will also host an open air concert by the Gozo Youth Wind Band, and soprano Christabel Formosa. This will take place on the following Saturday, the 20th of October at 7.30pm.

A lights spectacle and a fireworks display will enrich this unique event in one of the oldest Gozitan hamlets. “Symphony of Lights” is being organised for the first time and is being co-financed by the Department for Local Government as part of Government’s initiative to strengthen the cultural identity of our localities and boost tourism during what are considered the lean months.

Entrance to all events is free of charge.
