The Institute of Tourism Studies in Gozo is inviting employees engaged either on a full-time, part-time or casual basis in the tourism industry as well as the unemployed and the inactive who have past experience in these areas to upgrade their skills and improve the quality of the service that they deliver.

This is being offered through tailor-made training programmes which will enable participants not only to improve their skills but also to achieve a higher level of qualification.

The training will be related to:

Food preparation & production

Service and bar tending

Housekeeping

Receptionists/Front office

Related areas

The tuition for the training programmes is being offered free of charge since the project is part-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) under the Operational Programme II – Cohesion Policy 2007-2013 and the Ministry for Gozo.

Interested individuals may collect an application from the Ministry for Gozo, ITS Qala and the Gozo Tourism Association or download it from http://www.gozo.gov.mt/GozoPortal/downloads.aspx. This call for applications closes on the 26th of October 2012.
