The EU Affairs Directorate as the Intermediate Body for the EFF Operational Programme 2007-2012 is launching another scheme under the Permanent Cessation of Fishing Activities for vessels registered as MFA or MFB in the Malta fishing vessel register.

The scheme aimed to finance the vessels that are included in the permanent list of vessels with registered tuna gear and is in line with the Fishing Effort Adjustment Plan for these vessels.

Furthermore, an information session will be held on Monday 5th November 2012 at the Ghaqda Koperattiva tas-Sajd, Marsaxlokk at 9.00 am, and at the Government Farm, Xewkija Gozo at 1.00pm.
