The St Joseph Band Club in conjunction with Wirt Ghawdex, the Ghaqda Kazini tal-Baned and the Ministry for Justice, Dialogue and the Family, will today commence the celebrations for the feast of St Cecilia, who is the patroness of musicians and Church music.

A series of activities will be held at the The Santa Cecilia Chapel in Ghajnsielem, now beautifully restored by Wirt Ghawdex and inaugurated in March this year.

The celebrations will continue on Friday and Saturday, concluding on Sunday, the 25th.

Seating for Friday’s Harp Concert is limited and pre-booking is recommended either via e-mail to membership@wirtghawdex.org or by sending an SMS to 79771981.
