Simon Busuttil has been elected as the Deputy Leader of the Nationalist Party this evening with 640 votes, or 72.4%. Tonio Fenech received 241 votes.
There were 913 eligible voters, 888 votes were collected and 884 votes were cast, with 3 invalid, the quota was set at 590.
Speaking after the result was announced, Simon Busuttil said that he will work alongside the Prime Minister to win the forthcoming General Election.
