Father Christmas and his two elves ‘dropped in’ at the Gozo College Victoria Primary School to visit the children and distribute some gifts.
The children’s excited screams were deafening as Santa and his elves climbed down into the school playground. The happy trio went around the classrooms to see the children, starting with the youngest first.
This is an annual ‘fun raising’ event, as part of the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps (E.R.R.C.) Support In The Community.
The fun and festivities during Santa’s surprise visit to the school made sure that the children’s Christmas holidays got off to just the right start.
I can’t guarantee that it will always be this much fun, however ERRC will shortly be starting its annual recruitment campaign to find volunteers to join our cause.
Emergency Response and Rescue Corps provide a vital and unique service in Gozo and are looking for people of all ages to give up a few hours a week to help their community.
Full training is given in Gozo, as well as advanced training in other countries such as UK and Italy.

On behalf of all staff and children I would like to thank the members of ERRC for the wonderful atmosphere they created at our school yesterday. It was indeed the cherry on the cake after a week full of Christmas Activities. The Gozo College Rabat Primary School: A HAPPY SCHOOL! THANK YOU!
