The Xaghra Local Council was one of the beneficiaries announced from the Cultural Activities Scheme for 2013.

The Xaghra Local Council Deputy Mayor, Aaron Agius, on behalf of the Council, collected the sum of €2000 towards the organisation of Carnival festivities in Xaghra, which are to be held on Saturday, the 9th and Sunday, the 10th of February 2013.

“These funds will definitely assist the Council in the organisation of further cultural activities to promote our locality,” Xaghra Council said.
