The Aula Mgr Giuseppe Farrugia, within the St George’s Basilica Complex in Victoria, Gozo is to be the venue for the widely-travelled Russian Ensemble Posolon, who are to perform a Choral Cappella Recital.

This vocal ensemble consists of five singers, together with their director. They come from the Department of Russian Folk-Song Art of St Petersburg State University of Culture and the Arts. The group specialises in singing old a cappella chants, psalms, ballads, folksongs and works by famous Russian composers.

The concert is taking place tomorrow, Wednesday, the 9th of January, starting at 7.30pm. Entrance is free of charge and is expected to take approximately fifty minutes. Everyone is warmly invited to attend.
