Prime Minister reiterates that Gozo is a top priority for PNThe Prime Minister Dr Lawrence was in Zebbug this evening, on his third visit to Gozo since the start of the PN election campaign.

Speaking to the audience at the meeting, the Prime Minister said that “the MLP on the two visits to the island had not presented any proposals for Gozo, the PN has a concrete plan for the future of Gozo. The PN wants to build more hotels in Gozo, provide more incentives for the tourism sector, make more investment in infrastructure and help with the opening of new businesses in Gozo.”

He also reiterated that “Gozo is a top priority for the PN, with proposals for job creation on the island and more opportunities in education.”

The Prime Minister reminded the audience that Malta’s economy has also been praised by Angela Merkel, Germany’s Chancellor. He said that a permanent link between Malta and Gozo was crucial for economic growth. The Nationalist Government is considering possible options for the construction of a tunnel between Malta and Gozo, as long as this is technically viable.

David, I’ll tell you what’s happening but promise not to tell anyone else.
It’s an election campaign, politicians talk even more b******* than usual, but don’t worry after the election they’ll go away and they won’t bother you until next time.
