Archbishop Paul Cremona OP was on Facebook this afternoon, between 4.30pm and 5.30pm on the occasion of his 67th birthday, to communicate directly with the people. The Curia said this was the first time that the Archbishop had communicated directly with people through the Facebook page.

The Church in Malta page has 5,383 ‘friends’ as well as being accessed by a further 600,000 persons around the world.

The Archbishop received around 300 comments and private messages and responded to a number of them, including some that had come in from abroad.
