The Central Bank of Malta recently organised a charity walk in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza for its employees, family members and friends.

A group of 50 participants followed a 20 km trek from Dwejra passing through Bingemma, Ghemmieri, Lunzjata Valley, Dingli Cliffs, Fawwara and ending at Id-Dar tal-Providenza in Siggiewi. At the end of the activity participants were presented with medals to commemorate the event.

The Central Bank of Malta would like to thank The Farsons Group of Companies, the main sponsor of the event, as well as Koptaco Coaches and Mr Bernard Schranz of Leisure Ventures for supporting this activity.

Total proceeds amounted to €4,100 and were presented by the Governor, Mr Michael C Bonello, to the Director of Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Mgr Lawrence Gatt.
