Two short courses available at the University Gozo CampusThe University of Malta – Gozo Campus, in collaboration with the European Centre for Educational Resilience and Socio-Emotional Health of the University of Malta, will be delivering the following two short courses:

Nonviolent Strategies for Creative Conflict Resolution

This short course covers the basic concepts in nonviolent strategies, as well as the basic techniques in developing nonviolent skills to resolve conflict in professional and personal life.

The course should be of interest to teachers, learning support assistants, parents, psychologists, social workers, counsellors, youth workers, professionals involved in the field of education with children and young people, care workers and the general public.

The course will be spread over 1 weekend. There will be a four-hour session on Friday, the 15th of March from 5pm until 9pm and a four-hour session on Saturday, the 16th of March from 8.30am to 12.30pm.

Defending from Emotional Abuse

This short course covers the basic concepts in emotional abuse, as well as the basic techniques in developing emotional intelligence skills in those working with children and young people.

The course should be of interest to teachers, learning support assistants, parents, psychologists, social workers, counsellors, youth workers, professionals involved in the field of education with children and young people, care workers and the general public.

The course will be spread over 1 weekend. There will be a four-hour session on Friday, the 3rd of May from 5pm until 9pm and a four-hour session on Saturday, the 4th of May from 8.30pm until 12.30pm.
