On the occasion of the 300 years from the birth of the 18th century Gozitan scholar Giovanni Pietro Francesco Agius de Soldanis, which was celebrated in 2012, a new publication, ‘De Soldanis, l-esploratur tal-ilsien Malti,’ by Rosabelle Carabott was launched.

The book includes interesting facts about Can. Gian Frangisk Agius De Soldanis. Born in Victoria, Gozo in 1712, Agius De Soldanis is well known for his works in linguistics, he was also a librarian and historian.

This publication was printed by Heritage Malta with the collaboration of the ecoGozo and Regional Directorate, Malta Libraries and the Department of Maltese of the University of Malta.

The book is now available for download (Maltese version).
