The European Commission Representation in Malta in collaboration with the Visits Centre of the Directorate-General for Communication of the European Commission recently hosted a group of 20 Maltese teachers on an information visit to Brussels.
During their two-day visit, the participants attended presentations by various speakers on the EU Institutions, the EU’s policies on School Education, Health and Consumer Protection, the Environment; the Internal Market; and the Economic Crisis.
The programme also included a presentation at the European Parliament and a visit to the Parlamentarium.
On their return the teachers gave positive feedback on the visit, describing it as a rewarding and beneficial experience that has given them a direct access to and a better grasp of EU affairs.
