The Gozo University Group ‘Gozo Week 2013’ gets underway on tomorrow, Monday the 18th of February and runs until Friday, the 22nd of February at the University Campus in Malta.

This is the second edition of the event and GUG said that preparations are in full swing for a packed week of items for the students to enjoy.

Following last year’s success, GUG is looking forward to another set of events that will highlight different aspects of Gozitan talent, culture and society.

The Campus will be filled with tents holding exhibitions displaying traditional Gozitan traditional culture; the arts and gastronomy, all taking place in collaboration with various Gozitan enterprises. There will also be lectures relating to literary topics, live music by up-and-coming Gozitan artists and visits by several prominent figures.

All this will create a social hub for Gozitan and Maltese students alike at the University, while promoting and celebrating the Gozitan identity of which we are all proud.

The programe for the week is shown below.GUG is inviting everyone to go along, meet and talk to the various people who will be visiting the stands during Gozo Week and also to attend the lectures and activities being organised.
