Electoral Commission advice on collecting voting documents

The Electoral Commission has said that those persons whose name appears in the General Election Register and/or in the Local Councils’ Register published on 12th January, 2013, subject to additions, deletions and corrections ordered by the revising officer, may call personally at their Local Police Station to collect their voting document/s by showing their identity card as follows:
from Saturday 23rd February to Saturday 2nd March (including Sunday 24th February): between 9.00 am and 1.00 pm and between 3.00 pm and 9.00 pm.
On Saturday 2nd March, the closing time shall be extended till 10.00 pm.
In the locality of St. Paul’s Bay voting documents should be collected from the Qawra Police Station, while for the localities of Iklin, Lija, Marsaskala, Mellieha, Pembroke, Pieta’, Swieqi, Ta’ Xbiex and Fontana, voting documents should be collected from the Local Council Office. All applicants must show their identity card. No other identity document will suffice.
Every voter should ensure that the voting document is in his possession as nobody will be allowed to vote without it.
